Our Team

Steve & Lisa

Steve leads the team of elders. He also is involved with church leaders and  inter-church relations and mission in Manchester. He is Safeguarding lead for SMFC.

Steve is a G.P. (retired) and is a key advocate and spokesperson for NHS England.

Lisa is a primary school teacher. Lisa also leads the Childrens work. They have three children.

Paul & Alison

Paul is on staff 4 days as an elder and oversees the day to day running of the church. He is also involved with leaders, teams & churches with, Catalyst ( Newfrontiers) and beyond.

Alison is a teaching assistant in a primary school.

They have three children.

Dave & Suzy

Dave is an elder.

Dave is a Consultant Hand,Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon.

Suzy is very active within the community and brilliant at hospitality!. They have 3 children.

Dan & Kit

Dan is an elder.

Dan works as a Principal Landscape Architect.  Kit works as a counsellor, she is also our Safeguarding deputy

They have three children.

Mike & Becky

Mike works one day a week at smfc helping with admin and finance. He works as an accountant and is on the national leadership team of Navigators and his focus is

in mission and to disciple students.
Becky is involved with Navigators and discipleship. They have 2 children.

Marijke

Marijke works one day a week for smfc in a pastoral roll, she lectures at and is co-chair of Ashburnham Christian Trust board of trustees. 

Tony

Tony works 2 days a week as an evangelist , he helps equip and release churches in outreach and is on the pastoral team

Matt

Matt is works 1.5 days as book keeper, administrator and building manager

Tasha

Tasha works at Manchester University in Research Finance.She also co-leads our Student and Young Adult work.  Tasha is married to Josh.

Paige

Paige is project manager at Manchester City Council, she also serves as an Equalities Champion, advocating for inclusivity. Paige also co-leads our Student & Young Adult group and also serves as one of our worship leaders.

Josh

Josh is a high school teacher. Josh is married to Tasha.

He leads our worship nights and is one of our worship leaders.
